Pamporovo is the oldest ski resort in Bulgaria; the pearl of the beautiful, natural and legendary Rhodope Mountains.
It is now attracting rapidly increasing investment interest as it growth retains it’s awe inspiring natural beauty.
Pamporovo has a variety of excellent ski runs for all degrees of difficulty, most starting from the Snejanka peak above the resort. The gentle profile of the mountain with its rounded slopes and summits makes Pamporovo particularly suitable for beginners as well as expert skiers, featuring a giant slalom ski run as well.
The resort boasts 25 km excellent ski-runs and 38 km cross-country skiing tracks served by 18 lifts with a total capacity of 8 500 persons per hour. All ski runs are safe guarded and maintained in a very good condition. Four snow-leveling machines and 6 snow cannons guarantee skiers comfortable and enjoyable downhil rides. More than 100 highly qualified ski instructors fluent in different languages are here to teach both beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders.

All ski runs are safeguarded and maintained to an excellent standard. The ski school centre is one of the best in Europe with more than 100 highly qualified ski instructors fluent in several languages teaching both beginners and advanced skiers.

Pamporovo is also a very popular summer resort, often referred to as a ‘mountains and lakes’ resort with a range of activities to enjoy including guided walking and cycling tours. Tennis courts, horse riding and hiking are also available. The unique climate, strongly influenced by the nearby Mediterranean Sea, is extremely healthy and provides excellent conditions for climatic therapy and health tourism all year round.
Pamporovo is famous for its 156m high TV tower at the top of the Snejanka Peak. The elevator will take you to the cafe (93 m high) where you can enjoy the breathtaking view – the Rhodopes, the slopes of Rila Mountain and even the Aegean region.
